College is probably one of the most important stages in one’s life and decisions made during this period can have a significant impact on the person’s life. In a bid to guide students create sound decisions on this period, our guest for today has devoted her professional life in her own way.
This week’s guest for the College Experts Talk is Lucinda Cross, who is the founder and creator of the Activate Movement.
The movement is composed of 25,000 active members from all over the country. Part of the group’s advocacy is to inspire, encourage, and uplift women; to teach them how to learn from their experience, tap into their gifts, and greatness, and build a business that makes a difference to them and to others.
Aside from being a motivator, Lucinda is also an author who has published several books over the course of her career. Let’s join Felicia Gopaul, founder and president of the College Funding Resources as she talks with our guest for this week.
Some of the highlights of this week’s CET interview are:
- how’s her life before college what’s her personal story that brought her to her current advocacy
- how emotional problems developed inside the campus greatly affect her decisions in life
- what moral lesson she learned from her mistakes
- her advice in overcoming the challenges and emotional problems in life for students and successful individual
