John Seymour is an applied mathematician and Color scientist. He has earned 18 Patents for inventions having to do with the measurement of color and the adjustment of industrial processes to assure the correct color of products. Over the past 30 years, he has worked in the printing industry, medical image processing, satellite navigation, and analytical lab equipment. He writes a blog under the pen name “John the Math Guy”, which is described as “applied math and color science with a liberal sprinkling of goofy humor.”
