025 – Helping Underprivileged But Deserving Students Through Scholarships

Cheryl Scott-Mouzon is Program Manager for Outreach at the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. She’s responsible for managing all aspects of outreach for the Young Scholars Program, College Scholarship, Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, the Graduate Arts Award as well as outreach to the Foundation’s Alumni.

Prior to working at the Foundation, Ms. Scott-Mouzon has been an educator in both public and independent schools for almost 30 years, including 15 years in high school admissions and outreach.  In addition to being an educator, she spent time as a radio announcer and as the director of her own summer drama camp for several years.

Ms. Scott-Mouzon holds a B.A. in Speech Arts, Theater and drama and a minor in Psychology from Adelphi University.
